Claudio Mazzali is manager, new business and technology development for the Optical Fiber division of Corning Incorporated. Claudio has responsibility for leading the business and technology development group whose mission is to expand ongoing initiatives in optical fiber innovation and support of base business through network and system understanding. More recently Claudio’s team has been focusing on uncovering adjacent opportunities to support emerging applications of optical fibers.
Mazzali holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Gleb Wataghin Physics Institute. He has also attended the Tuck Global Leadership2020 program.
He is an author or co-author of more than 40 publications in the field of optical fiber and optical communications and holds 4 patents.
